Autistic Artist Sets Sights on Feature Film Project

Aurora, Illinois Apr 19, 2023 (Issuewire.com) - Meteorite Entertainment is excited to announce its upcoming feature film Figmental State, set to begin production TBA. The film is a coming-of-age drama about an overprotected teenager who finds love at the cost of his imaginary friendship.

In order to make this film a reality, Meteorite Entertainment seeks funding from the community to support the production. The company has set up a GoFundMe to raise funds for the production. The funds will go towards paying the cast and crew, equipment and location rentals, catering, and the many other unexpected expenses that will arise during production.

"I believe Figmental State is a story for everyone, including a new generation of those coming into their own. Those who haven't found themselves yet and will never know unless they break free. Free from fear, from pain, from isolation, from what's been established. The unknown may be scary but it's something we all have to face someday. I just hope this story makes a good stepping stone for someone just wanting to simply break free, especially in the autism community." - Roberto Espinosa, writer/director

Though Figmental State is helmed by an autistic filmmaker - and aimed at an autistic audience - it is also meant to inspire anyone who feels trapped in a world with a limited future.

Meteorite Entertainment is proud to be a part of the Chicago film community and looks forward to sharing this exciting project with the world.
