Art and furniture come together with this new collaboration

Homeowners looking to bring furnishings and artwork that reflect their tastes and personalities now have one space that brings it all together, thanks to a newly launched collaboration. Design-led furniture and lifestyle brand Hooga recently launched its collaboration with Galerie Joaquin, bringing together their contemporary furniture and the gallery's contemporary artwork, displaying the two alongside each other. In an interview with GMA Lifestyle, Hooga Philippines managing director, Jam Chan-Cua said that the collaboration is something that has been in the works for some time now. “We always do an event and we always mock it up with our lightings, because we sell the whole package. The lighting, the furniture, even some of the water closet features, everything we sell in our family business,” she explained. “But this year, we wanted to offer our clients something new, something different, where art can be mixed together with furniture and you can already imagine how it will come out in your own home.” It would take about six to eight months before the collaboration would finally happen between Hooga and Galerie Joaquin. Artists involved in the collaboration include Jo Balbarona, Karina Baluyut, Sheila Osmeña Go Averil Paras, and Eufemio Rasco. Their artwork will be on display...
